Rest, play, leisure, recreation and cultural and artistic activities

Recalling its general comment No. 17 (2013) on the right of the child to rest, leisure, play, recreational activities, cultural life and the arts, the Committee recommends that the State Party strengthen measures to guarantee the rights of children with disabilities, children from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds and children belonging to ethnic and religious minority groups to engage in age-appropriate and accessible recreational activities, sports, cultural life and the arts
