The State party should step up its efforts to improve prison conditions for women prisoners on an equal level with men in prison and in compliance with the United Nations Rules for the Treatment of Women Prisoners and Non-custodial Measures for Women Offenders (Bangkok Rules), adopted by the General Assembly in its resolution 65/229.
