The State party should revise the Immigration Act to ensure that its laws clearly prohibit ethnic profiling by the police and prevent disparate treatment on the basis of physical appearance, colour or ethnic or national origin. It should ontinue to provide all law enforcement personnel with training in order to effectively prevent ethnic profiling.
