The Committee recommends that the State party undertake public education campaigns on how to file complaints of racial discrimination to ensure access to judicial remedies. The Committee requests the State party to provide information in its next periodic report on complaints of racial discrimination brought before the Anti-Discrimination Tribunal and the courts, including statistics on the number and types of complaints and the number of prosecutions and convictions of perpetrators, disaggregated by age, gender, ethnic and national origin of the victims, and information on sanctions imposed on the perpetrators of violations and the compensation granted to victims.
