GREVIO encourages the Norwegian authorities to ensure that legal aid in civil proceedings remains accessible for women victims of the forms of violence covered by the Istanbul Convention under the Free Legal Aid Act, including claims for compensation from the perpetrator of a criminal offence and in cases involving forced marriages
